Welcome
On Thursday, March 22nd, GlobalWIN – in partnership with our Honorary Co-Chairs Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz – hosted a panel entitled "Women's Voices in the 21st Century" in the beautiful Members Room of the Library of Congress. The panel featured dynamic women leaders in politics and public policy, business, and the media. We were honored to be joined by such an inspiring group of women who shared their personal career paths and their thoughts on women's leadership and the importance of mentoring. To coincide with this event, and to commemorate Women's History Month, our Honorary Co-Chairs, Reps. Emerson and Wasserman Schultz penned an op-ed in The Hill.
If you were unable to attend the event, The Hill graciously filmed the entire event, which can be viewed here.

Learn, Share, Grow
In a connected and dynamic world, we are faced with an increasing set of competitive pressures. Organizations - whether in the private or public sectors - need to find innovative ways to respond to those challenges to be able to successfully compete in today’s global economy. Innovation is a key to this success – it is a nation’s single greatest driver of competitive advantage, productivity, economic growth and societal change. It is therefore critical for more women to have an opportunity to engage and lead in this debate.
GlobalWIN provides a forum for women executives, and thought leaders in academia, government and business in innovation driven fields such as technology, telecom, sciences and aerospace. These fields, generally led by experts with backgrounds in STEM education, have often proven challenging environments for women to succeed.
GlobalWIN is therefore dedicated to helping women in these fields by providing opportunities to:
- Recognize women’s contributions to innovation;
- Share their views & engage publicly;
- Access resources that might not otherwise be readily available to accomplish these objectives;
- Broaden their network across areas of expertise and beyond our borders
Annual corporate membership options are vital to the success of our organization. If you are interested in supporting or learning more about GlobalWIN, please contact Helen Milby at helen@globalwin.org or 202-548-0021.
